“Great location but....”
Reviewed 28 August 2018 for a stay in August 2018

Great location and nice pool but no WiFi and issues with aircon. Standing in the corner of the garden to get the owners WiFi (they live next door) does not count. Also the owner has put timers on the aircon units as we wants to keep the cost down. He told us they were set for 4 hours which is useless for night time. Luckily a previous visitor had reset them for 8 hours.
Shame about the penny pinching especially at the prices being charged.

Management Response

I am sorry that you have not liked some things and I understand, a router for wifi will be installed at the house, was an amplifier at the house but with the storm got broken, most air conditioners of holiday homes are with timer to avoid misuse of them.
The prices of this house are below the average for similar houses in the area.

An excellent villa for a family of four who want to be well positioned to visit Pollenca and the rest of the island or alternatively relax and stay put. The villa is 15 mins walk from the centre of Pollenca. 15 mins drive to Puerto Pollenca. If you like road cycling this is a perfect location for heading into the mountains. Pool is ample size although deep. BBQ is great. The rooms have air con. The owners are next door, they don't encroach on your space but they are on hand to fix problems (e.g. our aircon was leaking and they fixed it within a few hours). Inside the villa is pleasant, very clean. Good fridge/freezer/washing machine/dishwasher. The villa is very private - surrounded by hedges so no one can look in. Good sized driveway for car and very secure gate. Overall we had a lovely two weeks. Thanks to the owners who regularly dropped in when we were out to clean, change towels and sheets.

Cal Lloro is a lovely traditional Mallorcan villa built in the local style. It has everything you could possibly want or need from a holiday let.
The real star of the show is the outside area with lovely gardens, a good size swimming pool and a fantastic BBQ area.
The star of the show for me was to be able to lounge by the pool and take in the stunning views of the mountains.
The villa is located close to Pollenca old town. We had our 3 year old daughter in a push chair in the evenings and the walk back was a very pleasent way to end the evening.
If you don't want to venture out to the old town there is a lovely local restaurant 'La Brassaria' even closer to home.
The owners Arturo and Isabella are warm, friendly and very welcoming and they really helped us out with an issue that popped up which was very much appreciated.

I would go back in a heartbeat.
