Wonderful friendly staff greeting, although limited English, enough to get by. Slightly run down/old hotel, but for its price, most people would be happy to put that to the side. Still very clean hotel. Rooms are a tad on the smaller size than your usual western hotel, but this is Japan and its pretty good for its price. although no wifi is available, if you ask at reception kindly they have one or two wifi hot spot converters to the Ethernet provided. Onsen was nice and hot and a sauna topped it off nicely. Very quiet in winter, but its nice getting a hotel to yourself. Restaurant served up a lovely sashimi dish. All rooms have a view of the beautiful city at night. Would recommend if you have transport/car on hand as access to the city is a 10 minute drive. A very affordable price for the quality on offer. And did I mention the staff were very friendly and welcoming?

This great hotel has an picturesque view from your room at night. It is awesome. The staff are all very friendly and welcomingly.
The room is big and clean with toiletries provided.
The buffet dinner and breakfast is moderate, nothing to shout about.
If you don't have a car, it is difficult to get here. You need to drive here. It is far on the edge of the town.

Room tip: Get a room facing the downtown.

The rooms are comfortable and big. The problem is the location it's about 4 km from the city centre where everything else is. We tried the restaurant and have to admit it was one of the very few restaurants in Japan that we did not like. The service is impeccable though and try to make it as well they can. The place is very baby friendly.

This hotel is old. I would not list it has free WiFi and the signal is so weak unless you are in the lobby or else you won't get it in the room at all. The onsen is lousy. But the room has got a magnificent view of the city.
