We really enjoyed our stay here and the owner was extremely helpful.
We found this to be an excellent 2 bedroomed apartment with 2 bathrooms (1 en-siute) and a spacious living and dining area with full kitchen facilities. 2 balconies and full use of the complex swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
There is a small bar within the complex that also serves food at very reasonable prices.
Reception is manned 24hrs so arriving in the middle of the night as we did is not a problem.
Only a 5 minute walk from the main Gondola. Will definitely stay here again.
The apartment offers great value for the money and was very comfortable for 4 adults during our 1 week stay. The pictures on the website are not very good and I'm sorry I forgot to take some. Everything was very clean, towels, bathrobes, slippers were provided. Alll the appliances were working and there is also a LCD tv, not the one in the pics. The rooms are big, 2 bathrooms with showers, 2 balconies and a great view towards the mountains. In the kitchen you'll find everything needed even for cooking. The building has a 24/7 reception, a small pool, sauna, restaurant, parking. The gondola is only 5min away and you can get directly to the slope by walking 20m through the forest.
The owner was very responsive and nice, no issues entcounterred.
I could name however a few downsides: the bedrooms are facing the Pirin street going up the mountain and it's a little noisy even until midnight. The windows do not offer too much noise or cold insulation, it gets a little chilly in the rooms during the night. The walls are thin and you can hear the neighbours above. Wi-Fi connection is very slow.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the apartment to others!
We've just come back from our Xmas trip to Bansko. Never been before so youre always a bit nervous of what to expect. Tony the owner is a great communicator, so that gave us confidence that everything would be fine. The concierge are bang on, very polite and extremely helpful. The apartment itself has everything you need, bar a washing machine, but holidays are made for washing ! It has a working swimming pool, sauna, though the jacuzzi wasn't up and running when we arrived. The restaurant downstairs Steves Pub is a great little addition if you don't fancy venturing too far if you've had a long day, Steve the guy who runs it loves his music and is a great entertainer. The apartment does take a little time to warm up (it was -10 when we arrived !!!), the water too, but it's one small thing. The walk to the Gondola is about 8 mins, couldn't be better not being right in the noise of everything, but close enough to walk to all the bars & restaurants in less than 5-10 mins.Wed definitely will use the apartment again when we come back to Bansko. We loved every minute of it and would suggest using this apartment for your Bansko stay. One final thing, th area is surrounded by the most magnificent natural hot springs and are just the best thing if you fancy a day away from the slopes to ease your aches & pains. If you fancy something a bit further afield rather than Banya which is wonderful, Ognyanovo is lovely about 50 mins away by car. The complex has car parking in abundance and we decided to drive from Sofia about a 2 hour easy drive away. Just remember if you arrive at Terminal 1 with a low cost carrier, most car hire desks are located at Terminal 2. There is a free transfer bus, the traffic can be very busy around the airport, so with the cold weather, waiting it can be a bit of a pain.
We were absolutely delighted with this rental as our accommodation for our ski holiday. As a family of 5, it was perfect - a decent sized double room with a balcony and an en-suite, a twin room also with access to the balcony, a good bathroom, plus an incredibly well equipped kitchen area within a large sitting room. Our 14 yr old son was very happy on the double sofa bed. We simply cannot fault the flat - the wifi was good (bit patchy when everyone came off the slopes), the pool, sauna & hot tub were fun, the ski locker was dead handy (no stinky boots in the flat!). Location, we walked out of the complex, across the road and then skied through the trees to the main slope, down to the gondala, and then we skied home at the end of the day. Hardly any hobbling around in ski boots!
all in all a fabulous holiday. Tony (the owner) stayed in regular contact and could not have been more helpful. Our friends also rented a flat in this complex, but theirs was nowhere near as well equipped as ours. Thank you Tony!
