Nice apartment with beautiful view, verry clean, near gondola, i can wait to get this year back!!!!!
Late season, no one else around, apartments and hotel virtually to ourselves. We did actually have the pool complex to ourselves. Great apartment, most things you need, Wi-Fi and netflicks so no DVD needed particularly. Lovely hot water and helpful letting agent whenever we rang for their assistance.
Apartment could do with a freshen up overall and a microwave and dishwasher would be really useful but we knew there wasn't either before we arrived. Master bedroom could do with a new mattress as its getting a bit lumpy.
Overall a superb apartment in a great location away from the noise of town but not far to walk or taxi if you really can't face it.
Thanks very much.

We couldn't find the Balcan PMS offices, so I called them and they met us at the apartment.
The Apartments rooms were comfortable, warm & Clean, showers hot.
Short 2-3 min walk to ski road, to ski down to gondola. 10-15 min walk to gondola and The Happy end bar. So your 15 min walk from the main town, clubs bars etc, but this makes the apartment nice and quiet. Its was vey easy to get Taxi's too and from town if you didn't feel like a walk.
Would recommend this apparent to a group or like us a family with 3 teenagers.
Good location clean good showers spacious nice view
Couple of dogs barking at night but comfy beds and slept well
Pool area and jacuzzi ok hotel bar very cheap and friendly
The Balkan hotel office has now moved and is not facing the kempinski so we had to ring them they arrived promptly and were helpful and showed us round
Would stay here again was 5 Levs from gondola if you don't fancy walking would recommend curry night and massage at the avalon hotel which were both excellent
Also a spa day in the kempinski hotel for 20 pounds
returning to Bankso for 1st time in 7 years, who the place has grown and changed.
I couldn't find Balkan PMS offices, so they met me at the apartment with the keys.
firstly I thought I should have booked somewhere more central to the town, but the ski in-ski out was great, and a wander home from town up the ski run was nice and well lit, it only took about 10/15 mins. Its quiet and peaceful, I would imagine being in town would be quite noisy, there are many bars and clubs.
I was traveling with 3 teenagers, so having a private penthouse room for mum and dad was fabulous, the other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms were great for the teenage boys and girl.
The mountain dream hotel was very helpful, the pool was warm though you did have to pay extra for the pool and ski shuttle bus, but I was fully aware of this.
We too had a go with the fire and got it going eventually, so I urge you to take a pack of fire lighters and buy fire wood from the hotel, I had a great time looking for pine cones for kindling on the walk from the ski road.
I was in Bansko over the new year period, It is a holiday period so It was extremely busy, the nearer to new year it got the longer the lift Q's were, but the longest we waited was 1 hour, we learnt to get up and out early.
The only thing I don't like about this resort is they allow sledges on the #1 ski run, which is the ski road home, they should have a dedicated area for sledging, as they get in the way and have no control.
The runs were 80% open and snow and the runs were well maintained.
Beer and food is reasonably priced, most people speak English.
