First time in the Dominican for me and we had a great time at the Punta Cana, made lots of new friends and had a wonderful time.
There were a couple of bad points though:
The rooms weren't amazing and looked a little tired, the air conditioning was very noisy so found it hard to sleep and the lift kept breaking so we had to climb six flights of stairs to the third floor.
Beautiful gardens, fabulous and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for you and really good entertainment team. Food was amazing, so much choice..
I highly recommend the A La Cartes, we had 6 bookings over two weeks and used them all to great effect. The best experience was the Steakhouse and the Oriental and the Fish restaurant was also wonderful. The only downer we had was the Mexican where the service was terrible and we ended up walking out.
If you are looking to book excursions, we had a wonderful time on the Parasailing, Segway tour and Treasure of the seas, all well worth the money and made our holiday all the more memorable.
Big shout out to Paula and Rich and Gwynn and Karen, Ola!
