The food, drinks and beach are fantastic. Staff is friendly too. Service was above average for any style resort all inclusive or not. The water is shallow and is safe to swim and you will see lots of marine life. We have stayed at both the Beach and Palace. Loved both

We had concerns with our room when we first got here and Mabel in Guest Services was amazing. Resort has lots of choices for food and activities. Snorkeling was awesome we say Sea Turtles and lots of fish including Puffer Fish. including lots of little yellow fish

The property was nice and well manicured, but the food was horrible with the except to Kyoto Japanese restaurant. We made four reservations when we first arrived and that was for Kyoto Mexico, Lindo, La Noche, Vita, coral seafood, and Santa Fe steakhouse out of all of them Kyoto was the only one that was good. The two buffets Miramar and Bohio Dominicano. We’re very inconsistent in regards to food variety, and taste. If you have a food allergy stay away from this place. There is no place cards to tell you what food is what so you have to guess what you’re eating which is not great if you have food allergies if you’re traveling with kids, the Barcys waterpark is nice and a small kids pool by Bohio Dominicano buffet is nice but the food options are not great at all. The check in process was horrible. We arrived at 11:30 and stood in line for almost 2 hours just to check in. Must I remind you there was only three individuals in front of me waiting to check in and it took two hours although the price is enticing for this location please be aware that the food is not the best. Also, we will not notified of any activities around a resort for adults or children so we ended up staying at the pool 95% of the time be aware do your research and believe all the reviews regarding check in process and the food if many people are saying the food is bad-then that means the food is bad.

We loved getting away to paradise! Very large resort but we quickly learned everything we needed to know.Great staff and service . Our room was beautiful. Great Dominican food options as well as everything else. Afternoon coffee shop was fantastic. The beach is picture perfect. Sand is silky soft and water is turquoise. Lots of beach chairs. We brought our own insulted cups, floaty hammocks for the ocean and pool. We didn’t need bug spray (but we wear lots of essential oils). Not a party atmosphere - very relaxing and family friendly. No pot smell on the beach with is a plus for us. Nothing bad to say about Barcelo Bavero Palace resort. We would definitely return!
