We were travelling from Lincoln to home and had been looking for somewhere to stop for lunch, the road to this point had been somewhat devoid of places to eat.
As we passed throught the village we saw the teapot sign and there was ample parking on the slip roads by the side of the shop. It was rather late for lunch but as the shop was open for afternoon tea as well the owner had no problem in serving us a good portion of her homemade chicken and ham pie along with a nice dish of vegetables. At £7.50 this was very good value for money.
The shop is cosy and although we were at that point the only people there it did not feel unhomely. We wold recommend this to anyone passing through the village in need of sustanence....or tea and cakes.
