We were on our way to Branston for our first wedding anniversary and decided to look for somewhere to stop for lunch. We came across this lovely tea rooms and weren't disappointed . From the moment we walked in we received a warm welcome it was an olde worlde room and backed onto a lovely cottage which you saw when you used the lovely toilets which were beautifully maintained. We ordered an afternoon tea which was out of this world. Everything was freshly made - a lovely selection of sandwiches, delicious warm scones with jam and cream, ginger cake, fruit cake, ginger biscuit and flapjack it was incredible and unlimited cups of coffee and only £8 each. We whole heartedly recommend this lovely place for the food, value for money the staff and the ambience.

Just had a lovely lunch, delicious home made, melt in your mouth pastry on our chicken and ham pie, and vegetables cooked to perfection. Just yummy. Finished with tiramisu - ummm. Never had a bad meal, and always a welcoming, cheerful, friendly service. Try it before it is sold, you will be sorely missed - were will we go!!!

We dropped in by chance after a day's walking nearby at almost 5pm. We were made really welcome by the owner and ordered sandwiches and coffees. it all appeared promptly, very fresh and beautifully presented. Also had an informative chat with the owner and read and learnt facts about the history of this interesting village. It was a delightful end to a lovely day and I want to return for lunch as the food was excellent !
Many thanks

What a lovely tea shop this is!
The family went for an afternoon tea, with a selection of sandwiches and cakes. Everything was homemade and lovely.
We had a tray of sandwiches first, a good variety of fillings on white and brown bread. We had as much tea as we could drink and the cakes that appeared were amazing. a selection of scones, fruit cake, Victoria sponge and Gingercake. We couldn't eat them all!
We were made to feel very welcome and at home.
Most of the tables were full but the service was very good and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
A great place to stop if you're driving through Folkingham. You will need money though as it is cash only.

What an absolute gem. We had a leisurely lunch served by the friendly owner. The roast lamb was delicious and the liver and onions too! We couldn't resist the home made apple crumble and custard to finish off. We will be back for sure ASAP......
