We checked in here for a few days & found it to be 3* it's atmosphere is great the foods good & the management guys and staff are very friendly. Our room was refresed everday & we had no reason at all to complain. We didn't have any form of transport but as the hotel is a little way from Sosua it's advisable to have it unless you're comfortable with a motorbike taxi!!. We would definitely consider spending a few days here again.

Our flight landed around 9pm and we were at the hotel just before 10pm. The owner, Tom was there waiting for us. He had allready called to the airport and asked when our flight would land, so he would be ready for us. That's how considered and helpful they are there. The hotel is small and intimate. Pool and bar area is beautiful. The hotel is a great place to relax. Only minus, it's a little bit far from restauranst and beaches.

Well to be honest ,
My husband and I own a condo in the Sosua area.
We love to go to Hotel Voramar as its off the beaten path away form the downtown hustle , but yet close enough to get to if you like all the action, Nice classy area of town. The pool is so beautiful with lush grounds. The girls who work there are so beautiful and sweet and the entire staff from housekeeping, (maids) to bartenders, all go out of their way to make you feel so welcome. Also Tom the manager is wonderful and helpful.!!!
And of course Henk & his MOST BEAUTIFUL girlfriend Myra are so great!!!. She looks like a movie star. She is sweet on the inside and outside. Everyone loves her!!

All the regulars have a blast at the bar and you get to know everyone. Very fun nice crowd and really great fun people. Mostly mature baby boomers. WE meet regulars each year that go back all the time. You really get to have great friends there.
Now if I wanted to go on a vacation, I would pick this small beautiful boutique hotel for its charm, great Top service and not to mention the food menu is fabulous. We eat there all the time. One of our favorite spots.
Hotel is Dutch run and everyone is welcome, Canadians and US folks are welcome as well. We are Canadians and love it there. We are treated well by all. The price of the rooms are great and its so clean. I would pick this little hotel by far over any others in Sosua for the First Class service and the welcoming treatment.
You can sip a cool beverage by the pool, and have a blast of fun and also be quiet if you want to relax, The town is not far , but its nice to get away form it all. This place has it all going on. We live in town in the winter months at our condo, but if your going on a little vacation go to This place hands down. Best in town.!!!!!!! We stayed there in the rooms once as we rented out our place and loved it. So I would highly recommend this place to everyone. It really is a hidden Gem.
Don't let me forget to tell you, the BBQ's are great food and so much fun. We did XMAS AND NEW YEARS HERE.
