Every aspect of my experience was perfect here. In fact, it was so good that this is going to be very hard to write an accurate review, because honestly, I don't know where to start. Your approximately a mile outside the vibrant and lively town of Sosua. Everything is reasonably close to this hotel. When you walk though the doorway and enter into the hotel lobby, you will marvel at this quaint "mom and pop" type of establishment. Look, if you want to do the conga line every Tuesday night or bingo on Wednesday's and basically disregard the beautiful and fascinating culture that the Dominican Republic genuinely offers, then might I recommend a cruise or a resort. However, if you want to indulge yourself into the energy or better yet, vitality of this amazingly spirited country, then I highly suggest Hotel Voramar. Singles, couples, it doesn't matter, because everyone is welcome just the same. The staff was phenomenal, beautiful and exceptionally helpful (a little Spanish helps, fortunately they're all very patient and astonishingly friendly). The young lady's at the bar regardless of how busy the place was (and it was), served you exceptionally quick. Just remember "uno mas president por favor" and café con leche por favor" (loved the coffee by the way). The food was top notch, reasonably priced ($6-$8 and your stuffed) and most importantly, incredibly delicious. If I lived there, I would eat and drink there.
