We stayed at Tloma lodge on the last day of our safari with Soul of Tanzania, and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful room and grounds. The pool area was a highlight, and my 12 year old daughter spent an hour swimming quietly around just enjoying having such luxury to herself. I would have liked to spend some tie looking at the local community crafts just outside the gates but we unfortunately ran out of time.

The lodge is beautiful and so is the room. My only regret is not staying there for more than one night!
We didn't even get the chance to use the pool as we arrived at the end of the day and left early the next day.
Really lovely place though!
Food was good :)

After booking a triple, they offered us 2 rooms. Which was ok just not what we expected. The rooms were sparse, nothing fancy or memorable. The food wasn't great but the beer was cold. The gardens are beautiful and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was included and a box lunch prepared for us. Please remember to bring $1 to tip bell boys. The tip box is located in the lobby area near the bar.

Very beautiful place with great rich nature and unusual interesting rooms. The only problem is cold morning as room is not being heated at night.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend to others.

It’s such a shame that lots of people seem to stay here one night on their way to Ngorongoro and beyond. We stayed 2 nights and loved it.

The lodge has very comfortable bungalow style rooms set in a beautiful garden. You can walk around and enjoy the flowers, trees, bananas, vegetable garden and of course the coffee plants. If you have stayed on a winery in SA then it’s a bit like that. In amongst all this is a delightful pool area.

The staff are very well trained and service led by the manager, Happiness, is excellent. All are very friendly and you want for nothing.

Food is served buffet style and has a wide choice all very tasty. They serve vegetables and fruit, including rhubarb, from the farm. In addition their fantastic coffee is on tap. We bought a bag for home and I can assure you it is as good back in The UK.
We spent a day just relaxing there around the pool. If you don’t travel out they have an excellent lunch, 4 courses! You can also enjoy a happy hour with lots of nibbles and a special cocktail. After dinner sit around the open fire.

It’s a great place to relax for a couple of days after a busy safari. Highly Recommended

Room Tip: Enjoy the coffee
