It’s such a shame that lots of people seem to stay here one night on their way to Ngorongoro and beyond. We stayed 2 nights and loved it.
The lodge has very comfortable bungalow style rooms set in a beautiful garden. You can walk around and enjoy the flowers, trees, bananas, vegetable garden and of course the coffee plants. If you have stayed on a winery in SA then it’s a bit like that. In amongst all this is a delightful pool area.
The staff are very well trained and service led by the manager, Happiness, is excellent. All are very friendly and you want for nothing.
Food is served buffet style and has a wide choice all very tasty. They serve vegetables and fruit, including rhubarb, from the farm. In addition their fantastic coffee is on tap. We bought a bag for home and I can assure you it is as good back in The UK.
We spent a day just relaxing there around the pool. If you don’t travel out they have an excellent lunch, 4 courses! You can also enjoy a happy hour with lots of nibbles and a special cocktail. After dinner sit around the open fire.
It’s a great place to relax for a couple of days after a busy safari. Highly Recommended
