I'm a bit of a history nut, and couldn't wait to see this pretty Victorian pavilion from the inside. It's location, right on the beach, is unsurpassed, but to say that I was disappointed with the interior will be an understatement. With a little imagination, the ambiance on the inside could be vastly improved to recreate the days gone by. It's possible, guys - just put in some effort! Outside on the deck, there are wooden tables under umbrellas. But even there, one gets a feeling of neglect. On the positive side, the view across Santos beach towards the harbour is beautiful, and the food was passable. Please, please, do something to upgrade the restaurant inside this beautiful building.
