Stayed at LBBH for two nights. We were given a friendly welcome by Phillip and made to feel at home. After a short info session regarding activities in the area we where taken to our room. Room are neat and clean. For the price, one cannot complain. Thank you

Philip the owner, and his Mam were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. They couldn't have done more to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Breakfast provided was perfect. Philip helped us book a trip for shark cage diving, and was great offering recommendations for restaurants, pubs etc. The beach was just a 2 minute walk away. A really lovely place to stay 10kms away from the city centre.

On the way from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town we stayed 1 night at little brak beach house. Unfortunately the time there was too short, we would have loved to stay longer because it was just beautiful. Its a little bit outside from Mossel Bay, but with a car it isn't far away. Moreover the location is a quiet and secure little locality. The outside area and also the whole house look very neat and we felt welcomed immediately. The room with TV and bathroom were also very clean.
The owners were so cordially and helpful and they even told us a very nice route to go to Cape Town.
Breakfast is included and they have got a common kitchen.
We would return to this guesthouse at all times!

The area is nice, and its a short walk to the beach. The rooms were alright, we stayed for two nights. What we did not like was that the room was not cleaned after our first night, we didnt even get clean towels.

Hi there,

Just want to address some of the points you brought up. Firstly the rooms are serviced every 2nd day for guests staying more than 2 nights, unless the guest specially requests his room to be serviced every day. If you wanted your room serviced and fresh towels after your first night, we would have gladly done this for you. You could have just asked. The other thing I don't understand is when you checked out, you shook my hand and told me that you had a pleasant stay. None of this was ever mentioned. Instead you decided to write a bad review. We strive to give our guests a high standard of accommodation at affordable rates. Other guests have rated us very highly, giving us great feedback and excellent reviews. I'm very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your stay.

Kind Regards
Philip Neethling

Me and a few friends booked this place for a weekend stay. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean and spacious and each have a TV and DSTV (though with limited channels) and are all ensuite.
There is a spacious kitchen and lounge, where the wifi is strongest. Anywhere else in the place, you can not access the wifi.
It is a very quiet area and only a few minutes' walk away from the beautiful beach.
Our one MAJOR complaint was the "breakfast". It is more of little tea snacks, than breakfast.
It was literally just bread, muffins and cereal (and some jam/butter).
As far as I know, breakfast includes everything from yoghurt & muesli, to eggs and sausage.
It would be nice for them to make this clear upon booking, so as to avoid disappointment for guests.
But otherwise, great place!

Room Tip: Pick a room nearer the lounge area if you want to access the wifi from your room.
