I stayed one night - the a/c was a bit weak but ok in the end, with the fan on too. The wifi was also slow but enough for email. But all is relative - Mopti is a war zone, and tourist is all but gone. The breakfast spot is nice, I don't think the pool sees much use.

Was planning to stay for 3 nights but checked out after 1. The room was small and even in that small room there were three beds. Why three? I have no idea and they refused to remove them. There was writing table placed right in front of the cupboard meaning you cannot open it with out moving and then removing it. Internet was working but the speed was slow. The lights inside the room were dim and uncomfortable. Toilet was small but clean. Had my breakfast in the morning at the open air restaurant which is nice. Menu is Bread, cheese and jam which is standard across Mali. The outdoor area is alright but I really did not like the room so checked out soon afterwards. Also, this is the most expensive hotel in Severe and its not unreasonable to expect better facilities.

I stayed for two nights and the room was clean, with air condition, mosquito net, wifi, but most important the warm feeling of the people in the hotel. It is a cute hotel with good food service, great location for work in the Bandiagra - Mopti region.

I stayed at the Hotel Flandre during September 2013. It was a very pleasant stay. While the room was generally spartan (though the bed was very comfortable), the hotel was excellent. The landscaping was lovely, featuring many impressive works of indigenous art. The swimming pool was great -- clean and refreshing (thus, I give the 'fitness center' ranking a five star). The food was tasty, and the staff was very friendly. The grounds were set off from the street and surrounding properties by tall walls, and overall I felt very secure.

Walled Courtyard, Pool, Good Food, A/C, good security wifi and the locals have big smiles and a friendly "Ca Va" whenever they see you. A great stay in the heart of Mali. Mosquitos can be bothersome at night (I stayed during the rainy season), but that's not the Hotel's fault. The rooms are mosquito free.
