We have been fortunate to visit Yedjele Beach twice and loved it both times. The water is so beautiful and blue and the locals are really lovely offering delicious food for purchase on the beach. Snorkelling was good but not great.

Great beach with solid snorkelling opportunities. If you are after surf, then go elsewhere. This is a beach that is for the family and has great swimming opportunities. Watch out for the shells in the sand. Keep an eye out for local food especially the lobster. Fresh and tasty they were.

Mare was the destination on our cruise which I was looking forward to as there was NOTHING to do on the island. No shore excursions booked. Bus ($15 when booked on board) takes you from pier (Voyager of the Seas) to the other side of the small island to a beautiful beach with turquoise water with reef to protect the white sands of the beach. I would definitely go back to this island and this beach if i was on this cruise again. Drinks and food available and buses coming and going all day.

Enjoyed a few hours on the beach from our cruise ship. Beautiful to sit in the shade of the palm trees. Clear water with lots of colourful fish. Friendly locals, fresh coconuts. Could easily spend a week there!

One of Mare’s unmissable gems! Beautiful pristine waters with finest white sand! You can snorkel, swim or buy some food from the casual venders of the locals. If you don’t like the crowds, avoid the times when the cruise ship travelers there! 9am-1pm
