The hotel is very basic, clean & tidy. Staff friendly but only a few can speak English. The hotel is very near to the Airport but 30 mins walk to CENTRE of town centre. There is no public transport in Easter Island, so you either have to walk or get a taxi. Breakfast very basic & have the same food for the 4 morning I stayed there. They have free Wi-fi but no free internet.
But beware, you will have to pay extra US$20.00/night if you want to use their Air-condition! & on a hot humid night, a fan is just not good enough!

This place is so friendly, the younger staff don't speak English but you can get by as they try their best. It is as clean as you would hope for. It is simple, slightly dated decor is cheap and cheerful. Their toasted sarnies and tea are hard to beat for a light meal at $5pp. Breakfast is simple but good eating. Overall a happy relaxing place where the staff are very Kind.

Clean hotel, as expected , nothing exiting, room Ok, breakfast good enough to fill you.
Waited for a minibus on the airport to take us there and it is only about 4 minutes walk, but we did not know it.
Island is fantastic, you feel like you are intruding to somebodys life by seeing all those statues and not knowing how they got there - it is weird and nobody can explain it to this day. Worth visit, everything is expensive but imagine that every piece of nail or can of pop or beer has to be transported thousands of miles from Chile. Somebody has to pay for it and that somebody is us - tourists.
No complaints - it was worth it.

Stayed at the Manutara last year while on vacation and got pretty much what I expected a clean but plain room and bathroom with pretty decent water pressure.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast was again basic but good.

I did request a room with a double bed but ended up with a room with two twins, which was fine, but there was a note welcoming my wife and I to the hotel...which would have been great if I were married, in the 1940's on a sitcom.

But other than that hiccup it was a very decent stay and certainly met my expectations which had been set fairly low for no other reason than Easter Island being as remote as it is.

The hotel is a basic hotel, nothing too special. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, as well as the surrounding areas. The breakfast was nice too.

Being on Easter Island, you can't expect much in the most remote area of the word. The majority of the time you will be out visiting the Moai and seeing the landscape anyways.

I can not comment on the price as this was included as part of a package tour and I do not know the nightly rate. I did not swim in the pool either, so I can not comment on that.
