“Comfortable cottage in excellent location in a lovely little town”
Reviewed 4 November 2018 for a stay in October 2018

Perfect base for exploring the Brecon Beacons, quiet location just off the main street the cottage was comfortable and perfect for the 3 of us. Having a reserved car park space round the corner was really useful, and having book-ish cafe round the other corner for breakfast was great too.

“8 days in Crickhowell .”
Reviewed 14 October 2018 for a stay in September 2018

We spent 8 wonderful days in Crickhowell , thoroughly enjoyed living like a local in our house .
The cottage is ideally located in the church lane and just around the corner from the shops , pubs , and all of the village .
The people in the village are so welcoming .
It is perfect for seeing all of South Wales .
We visited the smaller towns and villages , went down many country lanes , drove mountain roads .
We also visited Abergavenny on Market day , which was a lot of fun .
Our host , called Alexandra , is so helpful , will do anything for you and is a really nice person .
Another bonus is now , they have their own parking space , just around the corner , which is a rarity in Crickhowell .

“Beautiful cosy cottage in a great location”
Reviewed 17 September 2018 for a stay in September 2018

A cosy, immaculately maintained and beautifully furnished cottage situated in an ideal location right in the heart of Crickhowell. Very close to fantastic pubs, restaurants and cafes. The cottage is extremely well equipped, comfortable and quiet. Great walks right on the doorstep and lots to do and see in the surrounding area. We would definitely stay there again and we highly recommend it. Phil and Sara, Steyning, West Sussex 2018

“Cosy, convenient and comfortable cottage in lovely village setting.”

We stayed in Caboodle Cottage for 9 nights in April, which conveniently coincided with the heatwave and glorious weather mostly. We know the area well, and there are plenty of places nearby to explore, walk, drive, visit, view, as well as the interesting shops that Crickhowell has to offer.
The cottage is in a very quiet setting just off the High Street, and all the shops, pubs, restaurants etc. The downside to that though is that [parking can be an issue. But you can park in the High School car park from 15:40 until 08:20 the following morning. The central car park costs £3.20 for a full day, £1.30 for 2 hours and can be paid from the evening before after 6pm. The street parking is only for an hour between 08:00 and 18:00 every day. It's possible to work out something if you don't want to get up at 8am while on holiday!!
The description of the cottage was accurate, and on the whole was well stocked, but for a longer stay a few additional items would have been useful. It was all comfortable, clean, and well furnished. The owner had provided some welsh cakes for our arrival, and some pretty tulips on the table. It's really nice to have the outside area, and in the summer it looks as though there would be a BBQ as well. Despite being so close to the town centre it was very quiet, even on Friday and Saturday evenings.
We really enjoyed our time at the cottage and would recommend it for a short break or a longer stay, if you're lucky enough to have the time!
