CAr park nearby. It was a rare nice day when we visited and we chose to sit in the large beer-garden out back, It's on a slope but spread out so all the tables are spaced out nicely. I didn't notice if there was disabled access but there were certainly steps. Entrance into the restaurant from the street was ok though. Friendly staff and an extensive pub food menu, reasonably priced. We enjoyed good panini, smoked chicken Caesar salad and a hearty ploughman's. It was busy when we visited and many of those there appeared to be locals - usually a good sign.

We visited here between Christmas and New Year and can only say the food was absolutely superb. Great staff, efficient and friendly, reasonably priced and very welcoming atmosphere.

Only drops from five to four star rating due to a huge bugbear of mine - please serve food on a plate! Not, as in the case of the starters here, a roofing slate. I HATE food being poncily presented on some random item with uneven edges so inevitably less well cleaned than a plate, and with no edge to stop stuff falling off onto the table - just put it on a plate! Otherwise, faultless.

Gorgeous food, great choice, fab children's menu and good price. Really family friendly with space for the dog too - essential in Brecon Beacons! Thank you for the warm welcome!!

First time visiting here and it won't be my last.
The food is absolutely amazing. I had the smoked duck to start followed by the sea-bass.It melted in my mouth and the flavors were spot it.
I think our server was named Steven. He was very polite and very good with the children.
It would have been 5 stars but once we finished our mains, we waited a long time for the dishes to be collected and to order desserts but I will say it was getting busier and it was Christmas time but overall it was a delightful visit.
Will defintely recommend to anyone.
