“Simply an amazing place.”
Reviewed 24 December 2016 for a stay in November 2016

The house is a fantastic place for family and friends. It is a very large house , with plenty of room to relax and chill out. Town is just a 5 minute walk down hill , with plenty of pubs and food outlets. Barmouth has a clean, long, sandy beach , which dog owners will love. There are plenty of long walks to go on , suitable for all ages and fitness. I went for my 50th birthday with friends and they all loved staying here . Can not fault my stay here and will be coming back here in near future .

“Perfect in every way”
Reviewed 12 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Just returned from 3 nights here with friends celebrating my birthday. 8 of us all together and plenty of room. The house is absolutely huge. Can't begin to describe the excitement I felt on arrival walking through all the rooms. It was like a maze. There are some beautiful features to the property and it's lovely and private. I think one wall adjoins a neighbouring holiday let but we didn't see or hear a single person. Lovely views from most rooms and a short walk to the town. Kitchen was very well equipped. Dishwasher was great! All bedrooms spacious with 3 en suite plus one other family bathroom. Bedding and towels provided plus stock of tea, coffee, washing up liquid, tea towels. Little things you usually have to buy then leave or throw away and it makes a nice change. We would definitely recommend this property and it's pleasant, helpful proprietor. Thanks Robert.

“Such a well equipped house”

We loved staying at Penbryn Mynach Holiday Cottage. It was perfect for our group of friends. Our group consisted of adults and children of different ages from 4 - 13. There was lots to do in the house (games, dvds, books) and Barmouth is lovely. One day we visited King Arthur's Labyrith - which was fun.

“International Success”

Our family came from Ohio USA , Scotland and the south coast of England to enjoy this fab house. The beds were comfy, the settee 's at the end of the day were too comfy and the regular settee snoozers in our family were able to continue their routines! The area had all we needed including the sandy beach. Great base for exploring Wales with an excellent supply of grocery stores still open for the end of the day meal.
The age of the house meant that extended family members had peace in their own bedrooms due to the thickness of the walls and minimal disturbances from other TV's was brill.
All we needed was provided.

“Highly Recommended”
Reviewed 8 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Stayed for just two nights sadly, wished it could have been for longer. We were seven women, on a walking and zip wiring weekend (excellent!)
The accommodation is very large, with plenty of space for everyone. There are three patio areas which were lovely and a small garden in which we chatted as we looked out to sea.
The property is well equipped and very clean. The owner, Robert, was very helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and would love to return one day.
