Had a meal here late Sunday evening.
Lovely booth table still available, quick and friendly service.
From the outside you wouldn't expect it to be as pleasant and well thought about on the inside.
Would return here when coming back to Barmouth.

Thank Katie S

It's going to get full marks from me as I turned up on a very busy night with all tables booked for food but they did manage to squeeze me in. Friendly staff, and good ambient lighting make a nice atmosphere. Food was ample, biggish menu and daily specials. Would recommend.

On recommendation by friends we ate here on Sunday afternoon. Its very popular & I can imagine gets very busy in Summer. Its quite dark inside apart from tables near the front window. There is great fisherman/pirate style décor inside & a small waterfall where the original ale barrels were cooled. The staff were very friendly & its definitely popular with the locals - always a good sign. We managed to get a table inside for x5 of us & our dog. (Very dog friendly). They had a few specials & a main lunchtime menu. We all had various burgers as they do local cheese or pulled pork with them & chips or sweet potato fries. The food was very nice & served quite quickly. My daughter is Coeliac & needed Gluten free. She had a 'skinny' burger (no bun) with bacon & chips. They do have an allergen menu, its quite limited though. Ideal location on the front at Barmouth & certainly popular.

This is a really quaint and cosy pub/restaurant with great food, drinks choice and entertainment. The waterfall in the back room where the building has been built into the rocks and is really charming.

After a long day of coastal walking we decided it was time for a hearty meal. This place did not disappoint! My only criticism here would be that it took an age to come. The service was really friendly and there was a nice selection of beers. The decor looked like something from Pirates of the Caribbean! Loved it!
