Visited with 4 adults, 5 kids and a dog so we sat outside in the sunshine & enjoyed watching the helicopter stock a boat with fish.

Kids had been desperate to return for brownies & they weren’t disappointed. The adults had the salmon which was delicious.

Staff were very friendly & welcoming. Would definitely return.

We found this place by accident. We were looking for a place to have a light bite and this was the only place we found open at this time of year between Stornoway and Tarbet. It is a bit off the main road but well worth the visit. The menu is limited but was adequate for our needs. The food was beautifully presented, tea was proper tea and scones delicious. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere, was spotless and complimented by the beautiful art work and scenery. We would visit again and would have no hesitation recommending the cafe.

We were delighted to find this cafe and gallery open for lunch when we visited Harris in February. We both enjoyed a satisfying lunch of homemade mulligatawny soup and freshly home baked bread, both were absolutely delicious. The owners were friendly and welcoming and their attention to detail spot on. In fact we enjoyed the whole experience so much that we returned, later that afternoon, post walk, to enjoy drinks along with their freshly home baked scones and shortbread , absolute perfection and a real treat on a bitterly cold day. Just wish we lived nearer and that my homemade mulligatawny soup tasted as good as yours. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Visited twice with friends during our stay on Harris and couldn’t see past the warm chocolate brownie both times, absolutely wonderful! Beautiful location looking on to the Isle of Skye in the distance on a clear day and a beautiful selection of paintings too.
