“Everything you need for a comfortable stay”

The cottage is semi detached on a small estate and backs onto a small area of woodland from where you can access one of the main forest tracks. I have been rather picky in giving four stars, and this is only due to the bathroom being downstairs (the landing and stairs creak so if you are a light sleeper you hear every movement) and if you choose to read, the TV/Radio next door can be quite loud, sometimes all day. Having said that, the beds are comfortable, there are more than enough books, games, DVDs to keep anyone occupied, the heating system is very efficient, picnic table in the private back garden a lovely addition, well equipped kitchen and fantastic shower. Would we stay again - most certainly.

“Good location”
Reviewed 20 September 2016 for a stay in September 2016

Having spent a week here it was an ideal spot for MTB at glentrool just down the road. The house had everything you needed (our last place didn't even have toilet roll at least till we brought some so we always travel well equipt now)The coalfire is really lovely and warm as it did get a bit chilly at night. The shower is great! We played the board games when it rained so they came in handy. We think WiFi would be useful to have here too. There's plenty of everything here in this cottage, everything has been thought of.I would recommend it especially for glentrool 7 stanes.
