“Beautiful, simply beautiful.”
Reviewed 11 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

A lovely little gem nestled between the Glencoe mountains and Loch Levin. A spacious, yet very cosy cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break. Right on the A82 (the traffic noise is there but it didn't bother us at all and we live in a quiet village). The stunning views over the Loch are amazing. Secure parking at the rear of the cottage, a well equipped kitchen, centrally heated and a log burner. This was a holiday to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and wee have thoroughly had a relaxing and enjoyable break. The cottage is perfect as a break for families and couples alike and as a great base for the exploring the area. A short walk into Glencoe village for a shop and lovely cafe that makes the most sublime date slice.

We had a lovely week at this delightful cottage. Particularly impressed with the well stocked kitchen - even a coffee bean grinder and cafetiere provided! Situated on the main road so a lot of traffic noise which was a shame. However this was convenient for getting out for walks etc. Lovely to come home in the evening to a roaring fire and the beautiful view out across Loch Leven. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

“Spacious, yet cosy!”
Reviewed 31 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

It was wonderful! Lots of space for the two of us - would be an ideal place for a family of four. The log fire made it very cosy in the evenings. The cottage is situated on a main road, which could be a little noisy at times, but to be honest it was actually quite useful for getting about - no need to drive down narrow country lanes!

“Great base to explore the Highlands”
Reviewed 18 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We enjoyed our stay in Stone Cottage. It was warm and comfortable with a kitchen that included all that we needed. While it is on the main road, it was not too busy at night. The view of loch opposite is wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a great base. We went to Oban, Loch Ness and also on Jacobite Railway. We were pleased we stayed here rather than Fort William. Recommend highly.

“wonderful”

This cottage was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon, the setting was idyllic the views from the living room was amazing, it was clean, warm and welcoming. We toured Scotland on our motorbike and looked forward to the end of the day when we returned, I have never been in such a big bath was so good to soothe my aching limbs. My husband was so complementary to me about the choice that I had made but our thanks are to Sue as number 1 stoney cottage is a home away from home thank you for letting us borrow it. We would advise anybody to stay here. Thank you Rick and Sally
