My husband; 2 children; our dog; and myself all enjoyed an amazing holiday in this beautiful accommodation and surrounding gardens. We enjoyed having the private use of the outdoor swimming pool and the tennis courts in the grounds and because of these we didn't venture away from The Coach House some days as the children were happy with all of the facilities that were available to them, including a full sized games table! The 2 dogs that live there are wonderful and they just put the icing on the cake for our children!
We had such a wonderful stay!! It's a great location with so many fun things to do close by and beautiful walks. Fiona and Matthew have been perfect hosts very helpful and always on hand but also maintaining our privacy. The house is really well fitted out and so luxurious! We really couldn't ask for more from a holiday rental! Highly recommended!!
Incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, fresh flowers in the room and a bottle of fizz in the fridge!
There was a decorated Christmas tree and some delicious home made warm mince pies on arrival to welcome us as well as a pot of homemade raspberry jam.
It is lovely to be able to watch the sunrise from our room across open fields to the Marlborugh Downs,
The house is incredibly warm but being able to light the wood burning stove enhanced the ambience.
After needing a break I booked the coach house. This is a beautiful holiday let. The beds were so comfortable and standards superb. We went with two dogs and the walks were great. Lacock nearby Devies and Marlborough. There are some fantastic pubs nearby. Bath is nearby which is worth a visit. The comfort here was well catered for. The log burner was a real treat. It was very quiet and we had a great welcome from Fiona with muffins and a bottle of wine. Hoping to visit again when a little warmer to try out the pool and tennis court.
I took my wife away for a weekend to Lacock and stayed at The Old Coach House. It is a beautifully presented and very peaceful property with lots of style and character. We loved walking across the fields and down the bridle path to the local pub (The Greyhound) and it was great to have Lacock just down the road. It is perfect for a family of four or two sets of friends to stay in and although we didn't make use of them, there is also a pool and tennis court. Fiona was very friendly and welcoming and we would definitely recommend this property to those looking to stay in the area.
