“Very relaxing cottage and grounds, lovely hosts.”
Reviewed 18 July 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Booked this lovely cottage as we needed somewhere to stay with our dog for three nights before moving into our holiday home for the remains of the fortnight.
Welcome goodies - fruit milk and cake - on arrival was a really nice touch. Cottage beautifully presented and the grounds were really lovely.
We sat outside on the patio for all our meals and one afternoon walked a tray of tea and picnic foods over to the brook where we sat under the big tree and just relaxed in the peace and quiet of the location watching and listening to the wildlife.
Our collie dog enjoyed the company of Barney the owners dog and all in all we had a lovely stay here. Bed was very comfortable, as was sitting room.
We were blessed with exceptionally hot weather for our stay ( and for our entire holiday !!!)
Would most definitely recommend and we would very much look to book again if we are visiting this area in the future.
Church Stretton was lovely and a few of the shops were open on the sunday we looked round.
Ludlow was also really beautiful and if the weather hadn't been so hot we would have spent much longer in both places, but too hot for dogs to walk on pavements or be left in vehicles, so having such a nice bolt hole to return to was perfect. Thank you Mel and Dan

“Perfect pet-friendly stay in gorgeous surroundings”
Reviewed 23 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay in the this cosy, immaculate cottage and cannot rate highly enough.
Dan and Mel were so welcoming and my dog Max hit it off instantly with their dog, Barney and they spent lots of time running around together in the orchard.
The cottage is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. There are some lovely walks directly from the doorstop up to Wenlock Edge and even a dog-friendly local pub within walking distance. The beautiful Carding Mill Valley is a short drive away and a must for walkers. Would highly recommend Brook Cottage and look forward to returning.

“Lovely holiday home in perfect setting with walks on your doorstep.”
Reviewed 22 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We had a wonderful stay at Brooke Cottage and was welcomed by a fresh bowl of fruit and a yummy carrot cake. Our Miniature Schnauzer felt at home immediately and enjoyed investigating the gardens. Melanie and her family made us feel very welcome and were extremely helpful during our stay. The cottage is well equipped and the bed was even more comfortable than ours at home! We would certainly come back and recommend to others.
