“Great pet-friendly accommodation in a wonderful setting”
Reviewed 6 September 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Lovely pet friendly, self contained apartment with superb views over Church Stretton. Very friendly, thoughtful host, Maureen, who ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Just a short stroll into historic Church Stretton and a great area for walking and cycling. Thank you Maureen, we certainly hope to visit you again.

“Great property with fantastic view!”
Reviewed 28 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

The property has been well described by other reviewers. It is situated on a very short, but quite steep road which means that it commands great views over Church Stretton. The location is quiet and peacefull - and therefore a good nights sleep is pretty certain!

The booking process was easy and directions great - plenty of room to park a car when you arrive. To greet you is tea, coffee, some milk and home made cake (that didn't last long...). The property has folders with local information, maps, walks etc - indeed if you did everything in the folders you'd be there for months. There are also a selection of DVDs and books. The clean kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and there's plenty of room in the living area - where, if you don't want to sit on the balcony and look at the stunning view, it's almost as good through the living room window.

Church Stretton is not that large, but there is a Coop supermarket and another small convenience store, rail station and banking facilities.

There are a couple of minor disadvantages which others have mentioned:

a) There are a number of steps to the property so those people with mobility problems may struggle.
b) There's a sloping roof in the bathroom which means if you are tall like me a little care is needed if you are taking a shower.

Overall, however, this is an excellent property to rent, and I will return.

Situated above Church Stretton with amazing views across to the Long Mynd with its beautiful walks and bike trails, the accomodation has everything you need for a long or short stay including a lovely sun terrace. The owners were very welcoming and we would love to stay again.
