Great location .... out in the peaceful countryside yet central for Louth market town, and only about half an hour from the coast .... lots of local walks .... BUT the bonus for us on this stay was cooking a tasty breakfast of delicious proper Lincolnshire sausages produced straight from Grimblethorpe and farmed from Andy's "happy" pigs.
If you are looking for a break away in spotless accommodation, with comfortable sofas, beds with lovely crisp white duvets and sheets then a stay in one of the four holiday cottages at Grimblethorpe Hall is a must, the grounds of which are stunning.
We have stayed in 3 out of 4 of the cottages, all different, but you know whichever one you stay in it will be equally of a high standard.
Andy and Nicola are to be congratulated for making sure their guests have all their home comforts, IF you require anything at all you only have to ask and you get.
We look forward to our next visit with you Andy, Nicola and girls. A big big thank you from us.
The countryside location was perfect for our short break after visiting relatives in the midlands. Excellent self-catering facilities but lots of info provided by Andy and Nicola on great pubs / restaurants nearby. Will revisit when have more time as lots to see and do in the area. The coach has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room and a very well kitted out kitchen so a real home from home. Could not fault!
We really enjoyed our stay in the Coach House at Grimblethorpe Hall. The interior is immaculate and the kitchen has everything you need ...I could live there! Owners Nicola and Andy had even added Christmas decorations in the hearth, a wreath and holly which really made it feel welcoming. The location is ideal for many reasons; beautiful countryside, close enough to the coast, convenient for shopping in the lovely town of Louth and sightseeing in historic Lincoln. Would definitely recommmend.
