“A wonderful find in the wolds”
Reviewed 15 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Fab time in a fab cottage great being so dog friendly. Wonderful countryside and churches. Cycling and driving was a pleasure. Needed to drive to Lincoln for a decent restaurant though some pubs were worth a visit

“Very comfortable cottage in good location for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds”
Reviewed 20 March 2017 for a stay in March 2017

We arrived at the cottage, following the excellent directions, to find it in immaculate condition. Great care had been given by the owners in providing everything needed for a holiday, including a well fitted and equipped kitchen, tea, coffee, biscuits, kitchen paper, a good range of walk leaflets, etc. The large double bed was very comfortable and the location extremely quiet at night, apart from the tawny owls calling outside. Good walks are possible from the front door, with interesting churches in the surrounding hamlets, lots of birdlife in the hedgerows, and well marked footpaths. The cottage had lovely views across the fields to Tathwell and beyond. Nearby Louth is an interesting small town, with some good cafes, a good modern theatre and a canal leading up to the coast.
