Description: We tend to stick to the classics and not mess with them too much. Instead focus on quality of ingredients and attention to detail in the kitchen. Pies, Sunday roast, fish and chips and a good curry are part of our culture and what people expect to see on the menu at a pub. There is a small space on the menu and specials board for the more adventurous diners where dishes like pig's heads crubeens and seafood bouride etc. Are found to be very popular. We also focus a lot of care on our children's menus making sure only fresh ingredients are used and that they too change with the seasons.

Always enjoy coming here for a drink and sometimes a bite to eat as well. Menu is varied and affordable, and staff are always friendly and helpful. Last orders is rather early at 9pm though so don't get caught out and phone in/ahead if you think you will be getting there a little before 9pm to ensure they have not already stood the kitchen down as has happened to us a little while ago.

Dinner with friends. Lovely warm welcome. Excellent gin menu! Great service. Amazing food. We had chicken & ham pie - absolutely packed with meat, pork curry & liver and bacon. All truly delicious. Followed by “snickers” mess, choc & coconut pie & treacle tart plus a selection of ice cream. Home made & totally yummy. All rounded off with a rich coffee. Total bill came in at £25 per head on average which given the quality of the food & gin too we all thought excellent value for money. Definitely will be going again. Can’t wait!!

Visiting the grandchildren and called into this place for dinner on a Friday evening. Great seating arrangements. Very varied menu, but children well catered for in choices.
