Home from home! This is a wonderful opportunity to stay in a property that is full of charm and history. The setting is exquisite and the accommodation very comfortable. Surrounded by a lovely garden and stunning scenery. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. A truly wonderful stay.

“A lovely week away in welcoming accommodation and beautiful setting”

Accommodation of a very high standard: perfectly equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, spacious but cosy living/dining-room and modern bathroom. Welcoming touches, such as toiletries, tea/coffee and milk in fridge made you feel really at home. Very peaceful location, albeit in the heart of the village, close to good pub. Provided ideal base for local walks (serious hiking and leisurely strolls) and day trips to coast, Totnes and our visits to several National Trust properties within a few miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our week in a relaxing setting, complemented by welcoming hosts.

“Highly recommended.....”

A superb property in a delightful location.

If you're looking for comfort, tranquility and charm this is THE place to stay.
The Forge is located in a beautiful village with a local pub on the doorstep, serving great food.
The Forge itself is spacious, exceedingly comfortable with lovely garden views from the living room and bedroom. A pleasure to stay here.
Amenable and accommodating hosts top the stay.
