“Cosy, secluded and perfect for a weekend break.”
Reviewed 1 December 2015 for a stay in November 2015

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay with our two dogs and camel view was the perfect place for us. Just s short drive to the nearest supermarket for supplies and only a twenty minute drive to our favourite beach Polzeath to let the dogs have fun in the sea. Pads tow was just another short drive to experience the famous fish and chips at Rick Steins chippy on the quayside. Totally secluded down a farm track with stunning views of Padstow in the distance. A lovely place to relax and unwind.

“Smashing little holiday let”
Reviewed 8 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Lovely welcoming holiday let. Very well equipped with lovely outdoor area with spectacular view of the estuary and Padstow. Tucked away down a country lane with a half mile walk to a great pub with lovely food. Ideally placed for visiting lots of North Cornwalls lovely towns, coast and attractions with Padstow, Newquay, Port Isaac, Boscastle, Bedruthan Steps, Tintagel etc all within easy reach. Camel trail from Padstow to Bodmin runs right past the cottage. Farm setting is very peaceful and the welcome cream tea a lovely touch.

“Fabulous, peaceful location”
Reviewed 4 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Camel View gave us, without doubt, one of the most tranquil and relaxing holidays we have ever had. After a long drive, the cream tea, fruit and Cornish ice-cream were a welcome surprise. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was a perfect base to explore North Cornwall and we will hopefully return, thank you.

“Relaxing Honeymoon”
Reviewed 29 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This cottage is in such a beautiful place, hidden away out of the main town so you can sit outside and feel like there's no-one else around. Camel View cottage is lovely, it's clean, well looked after and felt like a real home from home. Jane and David left us lovely scones, jam and clotted cream alongside other Cornish goodies which was such a nice welcome. The cottage has everything you would need including a full list of places to go and eat around Wadebridge. We also used the BBQ a few times which was brilliant. There is a local pub called the Quarryman where the food was great! We couldn't recommend Camel View enough, it was the perfect place to relax and take in the wonderful scenery (and watching the sun go down) on the patio looking across the Camel river towards Padstow.

“A great rural retreat with well appointed accommodation & fantastic views”
Reviewed 15 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We found Camel View to be very well equipped, really clean and fresh property with a dream view over the meadows to the Camel and through to Padstow in the distance. We found the welcoming provision of things to make a cream and other food items was a very nice touch by the owners. We would not hesitate in recommending a stay here and will be pleased to return here again in the future.
