We have stayed before so knew what to expect, but i specifically booked via Alpharooms as their website stated that all rooms had a balcony/terrace. This is not the case, so we were therefore very disappointed when we arrived. We had booked the studio apartment for 2 people, which was basic but fine, but no balcony/terrace, so nowhere really to sit other than on the beds. I queried this at reception, they just shrugged and said we could upgrade our room at a cost. I emailed Alpharooms twice to see if they could help with this and have still not received a reply, even though we have now been back home several days. With no contact from Alpharooms we decided to pay the additional 70 euro and did get a much better one bedroom apartment with a balcony, although i do not feel that should have been necessary if all rooms booked via Alpharooms had a balcony, as they promised.

Otherwise i'd say the apartments are fine if you are on a budget, not spotlessly clean but not bad. The air conditioning though is very poor, and seems to make very little difference so can be quite uncomfortable at night, and we were not there at the hottest time of the year. The pool is very tiny, more for cooling off but definitely not big enough to swim in or sit around. Wifi was OK in the second room we had, but terrible in the first one, not worth using.

The location is good, not the nicest part of Nerja but easy to walk to the rest. There are several bars and restaurants nearby and a couple of small supermarkets. There is a larger Mas supermarket close by too.

Room Tip: One bedroom apartment with balcony is most suitable for couple, studios are very small, not all have balconies.

Great hotel/apartment 5mins walk to the beach. Supermarket next door with a cashpoint. Only a 10/15 walk in to the beautiful Nerja centre. We were there for a wedding in the local church so was a great place to stay. The apartments are 'dated' but clean and have everything you need, kitchenette (2 ring hob/kettle/microwave/fridge) also an iron and ironing board. We were there for a week and our room wasn't serviced but catch the maid outside she'll give you loo rolls and clean towels. We asked for a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 11.45pm that wasn't a problem (25euro). Our only grip was we didn't have a balcony we'd defiantly stay here again but i'd make sure we'd get a balcony

Bit tired and dated, but clean and adequate apartments for our weeks holiday in Nerja, only complaint is that the beds were not changed whilst we were there. Apartments contained a toaster, kettle, microwave and even an iron and ironing board.
Location is excellent, lots of bars and restaurants nearby and two beaches within 5 mins walk. Torecilla and Chuchuo, both are a mixture of sand and gravelly pebbles. Advice is to reserve beds as they go quickly.

we stayed here as a family of four in July.
was given a room at the back with no balcony, we asked for a room nearer the front with balcony and was moved next morning., good start.
All the amenities were there, pool, restaurant/bar, seated resting areas and front reception. although very basic, all were more than acceptable. towels and linen were changed when stated, and the maids were very helpful.
the young lady at reception was "laura" could not have been anymore helpful, and very polite. she always greeted us with a smile, a credit to the apartment complex. its location was good, 3-5 minute walk to the nearset beach and 7- 10 minutes to the balcon de europa.
my 5 star rating reflexs the " you get what you pay for" mind-set. Its very cheap, but great value for money.
My only observation is that your aircon in the room may not be so cold at night. it could be that its on timer in the main aircon block on the roof, check with the maintenance man on site, he was very helpful. all in all a good place to stay.
