We choose Hotel Plaza Cavana for its location, right in the middle of this small seaside town. They have parking, but if you can't find it, the large municipal underground garage is a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is modern, with a well stocked breakfast buffet, which we enjoyed during our stay. Our room was at the very top of the hotel, with a view of the sea and the plaza cavana. What we didn't expect was our room was on two floors. The bathroom was on the downstairs with beautiful marble throughout. The stairway was all marble, leading up to our bedroom, which was well appointed with a comfy bed. There were 4 marble steps leading to a door, which opened up to the outside top deck, pool and patio. Every time I opened the door and went out, people said "where does that lead?" and I said MY ROOM with a smile. Great hotel staff, always there to help and answer questions. Would return!! Highly recommend.

The hotel is well placed for all bars, restaurants.
The train stops outside taking a tour of the town; the museum and beach are close by.
Lively bars and restaurants , a curfew on noise in the hotel after 10pm.
Rooftop pool and great views of the sea.
Comfortable rooms and very friendly staff who will go the extra mile to help,

Enjoyed a 4 night stay, room very clean and comfortable. I wish we had asked for a room not on the front, awoken by the refuse collection at 3am. The breakfast was excellent. We will definitely return as the location is just perfect.

We spent a week in the Plaza Cavana and found the place very relaxing, the staff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast is excellent with both hot and cold food on offer as well as hot and cold drinks.
The only downside when staying here is the external noise coming from the small square outside the hotel but this is totally out with the control of the hotel.....

Booked this hotel ten minutes before we left the house for Spain and was not disappointed with our choice. Lovely small hotel right in the centre of Nerja, couldn't have been better. We had a room with an outside Juliette balcony which didn't have a view. This wasn't a problem as just outside our room was the rooftop terrace with a plunge pool, bar open until 5pm and sunbeds and amazing views of the sea, mountains and town. Our room was immaculate and couldn't find one fault. You did however, have to pay extra for use of the safe. Also, which I didn't realise until we were leaving that you could pay, I think, 4€ per day for tea and coffee making facilities. We used the hotel parking which unless you have a small to a small medium car don't use it, as you have to get into a lift to a small underground car park. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return on our next visit to Nerja. 10/10
