Just back from 7 Days at this Hotel , we arrived at 11.30 am and was told that the rooms won't be ready till 2pm .Ok we went to the Lovley bar at the hotel facing the sea was stunning , how're we when we Finally got our Key about 1.30 the room was Lovley but we had No French Balcony only 2 windows with bars on very dangerous in case of fire !!!! I went back to reception and was told I would have to comeback the following morning to see if another room was available ( not acceptable ) eventually the following day we were given another room with the Balcony that we had indeed paid for . The Food is very Poor for a So Called 4 Star Hotel so don't upgrade to half board as its a waste of Money .But will have to say a Lovley Location . On our departure day we had an early start and the Restaurant did not do early Breakfast , we were given a carrier bag with a dry sandwich ,a banana and a packet of biscuits Once again Not Acceptable No Rep at all you have to go to the Monica !!!! Come on TUI sort it out not your usual standard !!!!!

Room Tip: Upgrade to sea view or go to another hotel

Well we booked this on a whim, our friends had already booked and at the last minute with a few days spare we decided to go. As we were late booking the only room available was in the new building (room 468) no balcony just a Juliette window which was fine as we were only there for 5 days. The room was kept spotless and was much bigger than the balcony rooms in the old building, bath and shower with large walking area a double wardrobe.
On the 5th floor was the terrace pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, my only complaint was there was no bar just a soft drinks vending machine, but it was just a short walk to the main pool next to the bar and restaurant.
All staff were helpful and attentive and all spoke very good English.
This is not a modern hotel and the decor was similar to older hotels we had stayed at, but the main benefit was its a short walk from the beautiful town of Nerja, a gem in Spain, too much to write about the fantastic beaches and restaurant and bars, narrow cobbled streets and the "Balcony de Europe."
For us the Hotel provided everything we needed and what we were looking for, we certainly will be visiting Nerja again and probably will stay at the Perla Marina again.

Fantastic hotel right on the seafront literally two minutes walk to beach. At the end of the season so some of the decor was a little tired but spotless clean.Staff good , seaview from the room and ten minutes walk to the church Square in the centre of town.......first bars and restaurants only a few minutes around the corner.Would recommend this one and intend to return ourselves early next year - popular around lunchtime with the outside restaurant overlooking the beach .......☺☺☺☺☺

Room Tip: Always a seaview.......no noisy guests for our week

Great spot is only draw. Dripping water from toilet all night. Only 1 charging spot in the entire room and I had to unplug hair dryer to use it. NO coffee available to guests unless you buy Breakfast for 10€ per person. Really Don't waste your time.
