Worth finding this place for the quality of the food. Especially good for vegetarians but other dishes looked tempting too.

Beautiful little restaurant overlooking fields with a nice outdoor seating area. The menu is a breath of fresh air.....so different than the usual lunches served in most places in Ireland. We have stopped in every time in Sligo.

A few of the things we tried, so far.

The coconut soup we had was amazing. Such delicate flavors....we didn't want it to end. Also, a lentil, lemon & turmeric soup....perfect.

Ricotta cakes with lavender syrup were beyond fantastic. Beetroot & goats cheese tart is filling, yet very light. Miso turkey, pork ribs, asian salad....everything we have tried is wonderful.

The desert of salted carmel brownie & a ricotta, lemon & orange cake is simply to die for. The coffee is strong and served with a little biscuit.

The chef is very talented and obviously takes great pride in a varied menu. We look forward to our next trip and hope the brownie is on the menu that day.

Got the day's special, frittata of courgette on potato gratin in a tomato base with pickled onion. So many lovely, separate flavours. Lentil soup with lemon and dill was spot on. No one else was there. Maybe midweek. But Sligonians are missing out on a great little cafe with a special concern for presentation, freshness and novel flavours. Will go back!

After a fascinating visit to Carrowmore we wanted a coffee, but were pessimistic about finding anything in the area. What a pleasant surprise to find well made coffee on the way to Knocknarea Cairn. Visitors to the archeological sites of the area will be delighted.
