“Serenity whilst exploring Ireland's Ancient East supreme!”
Reviewed 9 May 2017 for a stay in May 2017

his is a fab spot in Meath. Staying on a former farm with friendly pigs, donkeys and chickens! It's conveniently located for the #AncientEast tourist spots including #Newgrange #Trimcastle #BattleOfTheBoyne #BoyneBoatsLtd & many more!
Linda and Enda are the most welcoming, easy going and down to earth hosts you could wish for! They've a wealth of knowledge about the local areas and can recite many a historical story!
Definitely recommend staying here, such a nice break from the city and it's within easy reach of everywhere! #Ireland #Irishbreaks #Airbnb

“PURE HEAVEN”
Reviewed 20 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Myself and my partner stayed at Crooked wood farm just after Christmas. If you are looking for peace and tranquility you will most definitely find it here. We stayed for just one night and would most definitely recommend staying longer. We explored the beautiful land and got to meet some amazing rescue animals including Lucky the most friendly pony. Linda and Enda were the perfect hosts friendly funny and full of chat. We are already planning our next trip and hope to be back in the spring. So what are you waiting for get booking NOW......

“Peaceful and Homely”
Reviewed 21 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Linda was an amazing host, she was very helpful before arrival, with advice and suggestions and when we arrived she was full of useful info and was very kind and welcoming. The studio is beautiful, really well designed and very spacious. The studio was very clean and had everything you could have asked for. The shower was amazing and it seemed like there was an endless supply of hot water. It was very quiet and relaxing location. The grounds were lovely and had amazing views over the Boyne Valley.

We loved staying at the studio at Crookedwood Farm. It was huge, and nicely appointed, with an ample-sized bedroom of a full bed and two twins, perfect for families. (We're a family of 3.) The "living room" is vast, the bathroom warm. There's a small kitchen, with a fridge and two-burner. Hosts provide some provisions -- cereal, farm fresh eggs, fresh bread, cookies, too!

Linda and Enda are a lovely and artsy couple who took over the family farm. While they don't tend the cows, they do corral their own bunch of animals, which include pot-bellied pigs, a couple of ponies, a donkey, dog, and... maybe more, I'm not sure -- perfect for young children! The ponies and donkey would come to our low window in the morning, and my daughter would extend an apple or carrot, which they'd just take from her! My daughter loved to roam the farm all by herself.

Right on the Slane road between Navan and the village of Slane, the studio is the perfect location for touring the Boyne Valley.
