We arrived after 4, the house is lovely as you drive in and tucked away in a lovely setting.
We had to ring the doorbell twice, and then call the house! Our host told us we should have rung the bell!! He showed us to our room which was an annex type room (two singles upstairs and a four posters downstairs) and looking into the garden! Lovely warm feeling! We stayed for two nights.
We had dinner in the restaurant and to be honest the food tried too hard! It was not worth the money and was not fine dining. The fish was chewy and we were disappointed with the food and value for money. Gorgeous Guinness brown bread though. We decided not to stay for dinner the second night.
Breakfast is the treat, the real deal, delicious. Granola stunning! Gorgeous fresh brown bread again, and lovely fresh produce. Definitely the best part of the stay. Simply fantastic. Special touches, poems in your menu, linen table cloth and great service.
The house is beautiful, lovely fresh flowers and gardens.

Was here on Friday eve for dinner with my partner, food was top class, the service was very good despite a busy restaurant. Keep doing what you are doing as you do it very well! Great to have this little gem in our wonderful county

We have just spent a wonderful weekend in Viewmount House. It was absolutely charming, beautiful room, gorgeous food and very friendly hospitality. This place is an absolute gem, you can really leave the outside world behind and relax. The gardens are like a different world with various themes you could spend a couple at your leisure enjoying them. We’ll definitely return

Myself and my husband just back from a fabulous night stay in Viewmount House.Beautifully maintained house and an oasis of peace and calm.Hospitality excellent and owners couldn't have been warmer and friendlier.Rooms gorgeous and bed so comfortable.Food really amazing and drinks reasonably priced. We forgot our bluebook voucher and that was not problem, as the owne Beryl just told us to send it on on our return! We will be back for sure!

We regrettably only stayed for one night, I would have loved to have stayed for longer. Beautiful house and gardens, tastefully restored. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, one of the nicest vegetarian breakfasts I've had. The host and staff were all very friendly and approachable. I would gladly stay here again.
