Spotless. Dinner was very good, if pricey. The chef knows what he is doing! Room decent sized. Everything modern. Breakfast was plenty. We stayed here on our first night in iceland. Comfortable beds although they could use more pillows.

Scandinavian stylish hotel, but you definitely pay extra because its between the Gullfoss falls and Geysir. Room were clean and very modern. The beds were comfortable, wifi was fast, breakfast was great. You dont get any extra services from this hotel.

The hotel looks very modern. Inside it is light and airy. Our room had big windows with views towards the river. The furniture was modern and comfortable. The bathroom was also nice and modern with a good shower.

There aren't many options for dinner outside the hotel. I suppose we could have driven to the restaurants at Gullfoss falls or Geysir, but we had been on the road a long time so we quite liked the idea of staying put and having a drink. The food was very nice. Not cheap - but nothing is on Iceland. The restaurant, which is also the breakfast room, had beautiful views out over local area. The staff were nice and helpful.

The breakfast was mostly Nordic with different types of cereal, yogurts, breads, cheeses, vegetables and ham/cut meat. They did serve some hot food as well but it was a bit hit and miss as to whether you got any as they did not bring it out very regularly.

We also enjoyed meeting the big, fluffy, black resident dog who often was to be found outside the main entrance. He just loved any attention you were willing to give.

Stopped here for our first night in Iceland.
Really nice, modern setting, especially considering reasonably remote location. Hotel was exceptionally clean, staff super friendly, and dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Bonus - a really adorable dog lives there too!

The hotel was clean and comfortable including breakfast, it is reasonable Iceland price. Since there was no other restaurants nearby, to dined at the hotel restaurant was our only choice. We ordered cocktails, soup, salad and lambs, it was shocked that the 2 main course of lambs were not good in taste, the worst one we had during 10days Iceland trip. The other food and drinks were all good.
