Short drive from Mývatn Bath. Hotel is modern. Free parking at the property. Good front desk service.

Ample hot water with rain shower. Basin a bit small with no space for personal toiletries. a good night rest even with my windows open. Breakfast is the standard fair we had throughout Iceland.

We spent at night at this hotel. It is well-equiped. We benefit from a very nice view on the lake. The room is convenient, the bedding is comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom is more practical than charming but absolutely ok.

The location is perfect for visiting the lake area.

The happy hours at the bar were a good surprise for relaxing and we spent nice time with a scenic view.

The night was peaceful and we slept very well.

There is a restaurant but we did not try it.

Wide choice for breakfast.

We recommend this hotel !

The best thing about this hotel is the location — it’s really nice to spend the night in the Myvatn region, if only to visit the Nature Baths (a 20-minute drive away) in the late evening, after the crowds have left. The views from the big windows are nice, too. Everything else feels practical but impersonal, from the room design to the (hot!) breakfast. It’s probably not worth the $200+ per night they charge in the summer.

We stopped for lunch. It was clean. Modern and new. Eco friendly. Nice bathrooms. Summer time expect a lot of flies. Food was ok. there are about 4 hotels around the lake. I am not a fan of the modern style. But if you are you would like it. A lot seating areas.

Have fun. Follow us. @nickellfamilytravel

This hotel was exceptionally beautiful both in the views and it's architecture/indoor and outdoor spaces. The breakfast was good. The room was clean and the shower was really nice. I would absolutely love to come back in the winter to see the northen lights here.
