We booked the "walkers' special" - 3 nights B & B with a dinner on one night, for 99 euros per person - and we were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of the hotel and the food. We had the set dinner on the first night, as part of our package, and this was very good. At breakfast each morning there was a good selection of cooked meats and cheeses, three different types of breads, orange juice and an unending supply of coffee. In addition, we were served up boiled eggs on the first morning, fried eggs and bacon on the second morning and scrambled egg and bacon on the last morning. We had dinner in the hotel on our 2nd and 3rd nights and this was very reasonable. The local wine (a very good Spatburgunder) came in litre bottles and went down very well!
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and our hostess, Noi, couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The room was small but very comfortable and came equipped with a TV with a lot of local channels, but none in English. However, we didn't miss the TV as there was so much to do in the surrounding area.
