After a stressful week, we needed a getaway weekend. Loved the hotel, Ghost Tour was awesome! We even experienced a couple of paranormal experiences on the tour. Definitely will go back to experience the spa.

Hello, and thank you for staying with us at the 1886 Crescent Hotel! I am happy to hear we were able to help in alleviating your stress during your stay. That's what we're here for! We also love it when folks have a paranormal experience on the tour, as the spirits tend to do as they like and pop up whenever they feel appropriate. Thank you for your review, and we hope to get you down to the New Moon Spa very soon!

My husband flipped out over this place. The bed was huge and super comfy (king) and the window/door opened to the shared balcony area. The architecture is amazing. The Sky bar and pizza place with seating on a balcony was awesome, the food was great. The ghosts tours book up so consider getting your tickets early. The staff were above and beyond amazing. Sure, the place needs some sprucing here and there but any place that is this old and historic could use that, I am sure. Plus, there are always a lot of guests coming and going here...lots of activities. We really did love it and my husband vows we will be back.

Room Tip: If you get a balcony room, just be aware that this is a shared balcony and there were people smoking there.

Hello, and thank you for the review! We are always happy to hear folks had a good time, and doubly so when our staff plays a part. We like it when folks enjoy all of the activities, events, and dining we have to offer, and it looks like you enjoyed most of them! I can completely understand your husbands reaction, as I had a very similar experience my first time visiting the hotel as a guest. Thank you for staying with us here at the 1886 Crescent Hotel, and we hope to see you again soon!

Overall the hotel is a great experience. The historic value of the property is incredible. It gives off a great atmosphere. The price is much less than expected for a hotel of that quality. I am very impressed with the services provided.

First of all when staying in Eureka Springs- there isn't a "new" hotel to stay at anywhere in Eureka. They are all older hotels that are in need of repairs, paint, a good cleaning, etc. So, as long as you know that going in you can manage expectations. The Crescent is a beautiful historical landmark with equally beautiful grounds and chapel and gardens. There are walking trails too. The hotel will take you back in time. The rooms are clean enough, quiet, and linens are clean. When a hotel is this old and popular it is just going to show the wear and tear. We had a great visit! It started with a super friendly welcome from Tony Harlan at the desk! He gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We walked the grounds which is just beautiful even in April. The Skybar restaurant has a great view & awesome pizza. The ghost tour in the evening was informative and fun especially when led by Duchess Debra! The Crystal dining room also takes you back in time and has a fabulous breakfast/brunch that is a must to start your day with! Of all the hotel to stay at in Eureka this is in my top 2. It is a little further from the downtown action but a close shuttle/cab ride away and offers all these great amenities!
