“Clovetree is Wonderful!!”
Reviewed 31 July 2012

My wife and I had the best experience at Lake Lucerne Cottages. Thanks to Zoie and their crew we had the perfect little wedding with tons of memories to go along with it. The cabin was beautifully decorated and absolutely enjoyable. We didn;t have a thing to worry about as we spent our time together. Everything was clean and well stocked with plenty of towels. When we wanted to get out and see Eureka Springs the drive was very short and you're in the heart of downtown. I can't think of a single thing to complain about. Thank you for such a great experience!!

Room Tip: Clovetree was well placed just up from the lake with beautifully outfitted rooms and plenty of space...

Great location, quiet and very near town. We used to go to Lake Lucerne in the 1980's and the new owners have continued to improve the place. Very clean, lots of character! We will be back. We stayed in Cabin #2 on the North End of the lake.

Tremendous birthday getaway spot. She found cabin #2 available, and it was wonderful. Secluded and quiet. A short drive to downtown Eureka Springs, but next time we will park just up the road and ride the Eureka Springs trolley into town.

Room Tip: Cabin #2 has a two-person jacuzzi tub!!

Stayed at the Gingerwood cottage mid April of this year. We were very happy with it and we appreciate how nice Feryl was to Bonnie. Not easy to find nice places that will allow large dogs. The cottages are spread out so there's lots of privacy. You can walk all the way around the lake in about 30 min. There are some resident geese and swans. I wish there wasnt. Multiple times per hour they would start honking so loudly you wouldn't believe it! But the silence in between was golden. It's actually a beautiful little lake with a dock, a deck, gazeebo, and a strange, deep "hole-of-doom" as we called it.
The cottage has just about anything you would need except food and personal items of course. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom is stocked with enough towels for almost a week and they are large and soft. The bedrooms could have used a little more storage space and bedside tables, but other than that i have no complaints. There is a nice deck off the back of the living room with railing and a gate that latches to block kids and dogs from escaping.
I slept well and uses the jacuzzi often. It felt so wonderfully relaxing. We stayed 4 nights and i mostly did nothing but read. Ahhhhh...
I would stay here again. It only sleeps 3 so isn't right for everone. Would be an excellent choice for couples, girls get-a-way, small family, mother daughter shopping spree home base.

Our stay was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. We stayed in Gingerwood Cottage and the atmosphere was very special - the flavor of a 1930's Adirondack Cabin mixed with modern amenities. Clean and beautifully staged. It is a true gem - remote, but so close to all of the excitement of Eureka Springs. It was the perfect environment for a blossoming romance. We felt completely at home here and will keep coming back to "our" cabin for many years to come.
