I have been here a couple of times. The first was in the fall and not many flowers were blooming. The next time was in the spring and it had an abundance of flowers of different varieties. They also opened up another trail that led you through a wooded section by the bluffs. The whole park and especially the spring is beautiful.

You must take the time to ponder on the marvel of the clean, blue water that is so magical. Also, think about The Trail of Tears where Cherokees were forced from their homelands and driven to Oklahoma: another crime of the U.S. Government!

Basically you walk down 130ish steps to see blue mossy water, then to the other side to see the damn and an area that is a bluff\shelter. You get eat up by mosquitoes then you give up and walk back up a mile of ramps to get back to the only bathroom.

You must go at the right time of the season to get the full affect of the 77 foot waterfall. We only got to see it at about 10 feet because it was so dry. But it has a nice gift shop, clean and friendly staff.
