“Dragonfly Mountain was relaxing, peaceful, easy to find, close to everything we could have wanted.”

Loved staying at Dragonfly! Jan was very friendly and helpful. The surroundings were serene and beautiful. Loved the animals, loved the location, loved the whole atmosphere.
If I had wanted to cook, the kitchenette would have been challenging, but who wants to cook while on vacation? (That is the only reason I didn't rate Dragonfly with 5 stars!)
We look forward to returning. Eureka Springs is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of things to do nearby or to simply enjoy the solitude while sitting on the front porch of Dragonfly.

“Beautiful cabin.”

Beautiful spacious cabin located in a secluded woodsy area only a few minutes from downtown Eureka Springs. Jan greeted us with a smile and delicious homemade muffins were on the table. We decided last minute to bring along our two grandsons ages 8 & 10. They had a blast playing pool and feeding the donkeys and miniature horse. (Bring carrots & apples )They also enjoyed interacting with the 2 dogs. Probably would not recommend this spot for children any younger. (Too many potentially breakable items in the cabin)The cabin was larger than it looks in the pictures and very nicely decorated. Did feel a little exposed after dark with no curtains except shears in the bedroom ,but got used to it after the first night. Would recommend bringing an ice chest with ice since the tiny freezer in the small fridge doesn't hold much ice. Looking forward to returning in the future.

“Other Guests Have Loved It”

Dragonfly has such good reviews, plus guest books full of enthusiastic entries – and indeed the area was peaceful and quiet, just as we had hoped, with the lovely sound of rushing water near the deck’s comfortable rockers – and Jan was gracious about our repeatedly locking ourselves out of the cabin – that I am apparently in a very small minority (along with one recent cranky reviewer) of folks who aren’t comfortable with no (or sheer) window coverings – but I slept very little of our four nights there. Also be prepared for off-taste water – which we handled by buying bottled water at Hart’s – and a freezer too tiny (and too frost-covered) to either make or keep ice – so we bought bagged ice to keep in the Styrofoam chest in the cabin’s closet, but the store ice, surprisingly, had an off taste, too – so we never had icy cold water, although that it what we mostly drink. Nonetheless, Dragonfly is close to ES’s excellent restaurants plus our favorite bookstore anywhere – Gazebo Books – while still being off the beaten path.
