The design of the hotel and the bedrooms were amazing. The staff were super helpful, polite and friendly. Excellent rooms and excellent facilities. Foods were excellent. Front desk service was excellent with good recommendations, useful information and check-in and check-out were flawless. Would highly recommend and would like to go again and stay with the family at least for two nights.

Location is beautiful, they really did a good job in building the hotel on such a lovely location BUT
- Cleanness of rooms can be much better. There were still insects in the room
- Pool is not ready to swim in which was a pity as the pool is really lovely
- A lot of noise during the night. Our room was next to the elevator and every time somebody is using the elevator, you could hear it. Please ask another room when you have room 412 because you wont find any peace!!! When I mentioned this at the reception they didn't care and didn't even apologized.

Restaurant/ Food is Ok but needed to wait for over 30min for our egss because it was too busy. So it could be better in words of organisation.

We spent the day at Hotel Mystic Mountain for an incredibly relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu!

We visited on a Saturday and they have a deal whereby you pay 3,000 rupees per person for access to the swimming pool and facilities and also a 3 hour bbq from 12-3 with a complimentary house beverage. The food was delicious and we had a great selection of meats from the bbq which were cooked with Nepalese spices. They also had a Mongolian noodle section which were all made fresh and brought to you.

The highlight of the hotel is the infinity swimming pool which over looks the mountains and padi fields and on a clear day you can see Mt Everest. We visited in June which is monsoon season but it only rained for 5 minutes during our stay but because of the weather it felt like we were up in the clouds.

We hired a driver to take us from the Kathmandu Guest House in Thamel to drive us to Nargarkot and up to the hotel. We paid our driver 6,000 rupees and he waited for us before driving us back to Thamel. The drive was approximately 1hour 45 each way on mountainous terrain but it was worth every second.

I would absolutely love to return to this hotel for a few nights to fully unwind and relax but would highly recommend a day trip here if you don’t have the time to stay.

The USP of this property is its location. Situated at the top of a hill, it’s not uncommon for the hotel to be entirely engulfed by clouds creating a serene environment. Staff was really courteous too.

Food can do with a lot of improvement though, especially the non vegetarian dishes.

Loved the Mystic Mountain experience. Was there with my family, the staffs are super friendly and attentive. The rooms were bright and every room has a balcony that has amazing view. The super cool infinity pool and open jacuzzi is a real catch!
