Called in to the Oak bar for lunch with friends this week....they were running late so lunch was a bit delayed......but everything was still available when they arrived.....my husband loves his full Irish breakfast so his choice was obvious, it came large, freshly cooked and he said it was delicious...my baked potato with tuna and selectors was served with a fresh green salad and was perfect. The lovely surprise was my friend Denise was able to chose the big green detox smoothie.... as far as I know this is the only place in Ballyhaunis that offers veg or fruit smoothie......I had never considered this option for lunch but when it came she said it was wonderful....so I had a taste and yes it truly
was..... freshly juiced and very moreish......I'm not a smoothie sort of girl but this was a delight to the taste buds.....I will certainly be calling in here again to have a whole one to my self and also to try the fruit option... it's fantastic to see a small lunch bar offering an alternative if juiced veg is your thing.... the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever.... the ambiance is very pleasant .....t's a gem of a lunch bar...do try it

We stopped here for breakfast on our way to westport. The food was gorgeous and staff were very friendly. The cafe is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Would recommend

Lovely rib eye steak sandwich and very welcoming staff. Right in the heart of Ballyhaunis and came recommended to us as a good place to eat.

Don't miss the homemade frangipane mince pies! So different and really lovely . Also had a gorgeous lemon cake. Staff are so nice and friendly also. Well done!
