I've been eating at Sandesh's for several years from the time when he ran his restaurant out in the open in the paddy fields. Now he's under cover in the village, all year round, and serves up stunningly good Goan food and some Chinese dishes.
Personal favourites are any kind of fish that he has on for that day, Singapore Mix Noodles, his very Special House Soup, washed down by fresh lime soda with salt, no sugar, and a Honeybee peg on the side.
Goans swear by his lunchtime thali, that is said to be the best in Goa. Personally I swear by his Tandoori Chicken that is, in my opinion, the best chicken that I've ever eaten, anywhere.
Don't go there. I don't want you to. I want to keep the place just as it is. Small in size, delicious food, and incredible value.
