The Village of Oak Creek has everything that you need to enjoy the Sedona area. You could quite easily park your car the day you arrived and walk everywhere, including the grocery store, hiking trails and restaurants. This condo is right in the heart of Oak Creek, which is great. But since it is also right on HWY 179, it is not in an excluded or private setting. In fact, the front balcony looks directly over a gas station that is very well lit all night long. The back patio lacks privacy. There is no screening between units, so you can't really enjoy the patio unless you enjoy seeing your neighbors in their hot tub. There is a cleaning fee charged, but the place was not especially clean when we checked in. A light dusting had been done, but dust had been missed on most of the furniture in at least some places. The bathrooms were somewhat clean, but certainly not sparkling clean. The kitchen sink is badly stained and needs to be replaced. The dishes and pots and pans provided are adequate, but not great. The upper door on the refrigerator comes open when you close the bottom door, so you have to be careful not to accidentally leave it open.

This place was very nice and clean. Richard was very prompt and professional with the rental. Everything was very close for all of the hiking we wanted to do which was fabulous. Going into Sedona wasn't a far drive and very beautiful. Had a great time!
