We enjoyed our stay at Penrose. The rooms are set up with beautiful accent pieces. We would love to come back and spend time in their lobby drinking coffee, eating evening cookies, playing piano (quiet time after 9 PM).

Great property that is well maintained has beautiful views of the mountain. At night, you can enjoy the stars from their parking lot.

Friendly staff who can help you plan the day especially hike routes. For breakfast, they happily accommodated vegetarian options for us.

Only a stay at The Penrose B&B could possibly give the proper meaning to any review of this outstanding property. We have been traveling for the last 60 years all over the world and NEVER have we had the pleasure of what was afforded us at this site. The people, the food, the cleanliness , and with all that an outstanding view made for an unforgettable stay. Our only regret is that being in our 80s we will probably never get to return to this fantastic place. If you ever have the chance to travel to Sedona the Penrose B&B is the ONLY place to stay

We stay in several B&B's each year and this is one of, if not THE, best. Our room, Javelina, had an amazing view of the Bell and Courthouse Rocks and a roomy balcony. Very quiet B&B. which is important to light sleepers like us. Convenient to everything worth doing in the area. Excellent breakfast each day. Definitely a place you want to consider when visiting Sedona.

Location. Location. Location! The Penrose is a beautiful property that is well maintained and has absolutely incredible views. The breakfast options are delicious and the owners are very sweet. Would not hesitate to come back! (If I had to pick one area of improvement, it would be the bath towels. The majority of the towels our bathroom had throughout our stay were scratchy.)

Traveling solo to Sedona for some peace and beauty, I found The Penrose B & B to be a charming and homey special place to stay! I was greeted by the owner and offered suggestions of what to do around town. My room, the Coconino had a spectacular view of the Red Rocks from every window and a lovely balcony! My accommodations were totally pristine and the bed soft and cozy. I loved the unique touches and rarely saw other guests. I felt very safe staying here as a solo traveler. I recommend staying here if you want a unique and homey stay!
